Students from schools in England and Latvia will be meeting in the European Parliament in Strasbourg this week as part of Radiowaves Voice It Europe project. The young reporters from opposite ends of Europe will be exploring European democracy together and meeting MEPs from their home nations.

Voice It Europe is funded by ‘ Youth in Action’, which aims to get young people talking together about democracy and citizenship. This is a pilot project supported by the British Council. After evaluating the outcomes we aim to expand the concept to take in more UK and European young people, together making media about key democratic topics.
